ABOUT JAN
I graduated from Temple University with a master's degree in counseling therapy. I hold a post-master's certificate from the Malvern, Pennsylvania-based Pennsylvania Gestalt Center. I have practiced for more than 20 years, specializing in changing the behavior of young adults, teens, and children.
I spent the early years of my career at the Children's Rehabilitation Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where I served as a play therapist. I specialize in helping child and adult clients cope with irritable bowel syndrome and Crohn's disease.
I studied under Dr. Sandra Klos, a leading behavioral therapy specialist. We worked together for over a decade. I am currently an assistant teacher for a three-year court at the Pennsylvania Gestalt Center.
I offer individual therapy to cope with anxiety, depression, self-esteem, life cycle transitions, divorce, and trauma to clients of all ages. I am a kind and loving therapist who respects the goals and needs of my clients. Making the choice to engage in therapy is a brave and meaningful step towards the possibility of change. I am committed to establishing a good rapport with my clients and providing a safe atmosphere to explore painful issues.
